Photo: Tennis racquet featured in the photo is the racquet of Goran Ivanisevic. Ivanisevic won Wimbledon in 2002, reached the Wimbledon finals in 1992, 1994, and 1998, and reached a singles ranking of World #2 behind Pete Sampras in 1994.

Ivanisevic gave his racquet to Cindy in 1997.



Cindy Yim earned a Southern California Tennis Association (SCTA) ranking of #45 and reached a United States Tennis Association (USTA) national seeding of #243.

 

She reached the Round of 16 at the Copper Bowl National Championships and was selected to participate in the USTA Area Training Center for two years.  She received an SCTA Sportsmanship Award for two consecutive years. 

 

In college, Cindy played on Princeton’s junior varsity tennis team for four years and won the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Tennis Competition in Flight C singles as a freshman.

 

Prior to founding Little Yim, she worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. 

 

Cindy graduated summa cum laude in economics from Princeton University.  She finished among the top 8 seniors in the economics department.
